SERVER

Honorable Mention is an elevated sports bar delivering a refined yet approachable game-day experience, that will be opening late February/early March 2026. We offer curated cocktails, large-format TVs, and a comfortable, energetic atmosphere designed for connection and excitement. Our menu features thoughtfully crafted small-plate shareables alongside bold, show-stopping entrées meant to be enjoyed together. We’re building a team of passionate, hospitality-driven individuals who take pride in great service, teamwork, and creating memorable experiences for every guest.

Role Summary
Servers are the primary ambassadors of Honorable Mention. They guide guests through the menu, control the pace of the experience, and balance efficiency with hospitality in a high-energy sports-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Greet guests promptly at the door when host support is needed
Understand and follow server rotation and section assignments
Deliver a polished menu presentation with strong product knowledge
Explain tapas-style ordering, pacing courses appropriately
Recommend food and beverage pairings (beer, wine, cocktails)
Accurately enter orders and communicate modifications clearly
Maintain table appearance throughout the guest experience
Anticipate guest needs during peak game times
Handle payments accurately and efficiently
Support teammates by pre-bussing and assisting when needed

Knowledge & Skills

Full knowledge of all food, beverage, and house products
Strong understanding of share-plate dining
Ability to manage multiple tables during high-volume service
Confident, engaging communication style
Calm under pressure during busy events and games

Compensation: $16.30 per hour
